Your offspring will be thus - the promise

"And he took him to the outside and he said: Look here the sky and count the stars, if you can count them, and he said to him: Your offspring will be thus." [Genesis 15:5]

God blessed Abram in all, and only there was not son for him.
About many things and many property, Abram was ready to give away,
If only there can gain in son, that he goes on his way.

God heard requests in his heart of Abram, and promised for him that there will be not only one son for him.
God said to him: "Look at the sky, your sons will be many like the stars. Look at the earth, your sons will be many like grains of sands that on the sea shores."
God looked that Abram was encouraged, and continued: "Just as one can not count the stars that are in the sky, just as one can not count the grains of the sands that are on the sea shores, as one will not be able to count his many sons of Abram."
Then God also promised to Abram, that his many sons will be like in their deed to Abram their father.

About this promise sages said: What is like the thing?
To one man that went in the desert.

He went one day, he went two day, and he went three day, he went as in the desert ten days.
During all days he traveled, he did not find good place that was suitable to lest in it.
He did not look tree that he can sit down in its shade, and did not find water.
He did not find alse even man that can help for him.

After ten days, the man already despaired of arrival to place living.
And here then from in the hot and in many his dispair, he looked distance of tree.
He said in his heart: I will approach to the tree, maybe there is water from under it.
The man hurryed in remainder his power to the tree, and here it growing near good spring water.
He looked that the tree is fine, and his fruits are sweet, and his branches are fine and gives many shade.
The man sat down to it to lest the shade of the tree, and ate from his fruits and drunk (cold) water from the spring.

Before the man stood up to continue in his way, the man thought in his heart:
"Tree, tree, in what I will bless you? That you will be fine? - You are fine;
That your shade will be many? - Your shade already many;
That fruits for you will be sweet? - And here is, your fruits sweet;
That you will be stand in lovable place? - You stand in lovable place;

I will bless you thus: "It will be desire, that all the trees that they will go out from you will be good as like you."
