• もし条件が満たされれば「〜するつもり」「〜できるであろう」という，ある条件のもとで起こりうる結果や可能性を表すときに使う．
• if節で条件を表し，もう一つの節で予定や結果，可能性を表す．
• 未来に関することでもif節では現在形を使う．
• willのほか，won't(〜しないつもり），can（〜できる），may（〜かもしれない）などの助動詞も使える．

• 週末晴れたらサイクリングに行くつもりです．
  • If it's sunny this weekend, I will go bike riding.
• もしお母さんがいいって言ったらバイトをするつもりです．
  • If Mom syas that's ok, I will go find a job.
• もし質問があればいつでも尋ねてください．
  • If you have a quastion, you can ask any time.
• 明日になっても体調が良くならなかったら病院へ行ってみます．
  • If I don't feel better by tomorrow, I will go see the doctor.
• もし明日になっても彼女から連絡がなかったら電話してみよう．
  • If I don't hear from her by tomorrow, I will give her a call.
• もし浮気していることがわかったら彼とは別れるつもりです．
  • If I find my boyfriend cheating on me, I will break up with him.
• 「明日，会社の飲み会に行く？」「うん，疲れていなければね」
  • Are you going out drinking with co-workers tomorrow?
  • If I'm not tired, I will.
• もし宝くじで１千万円当たったら高級車を買うかもしれない．
  • If I hit 10 million yen in the lotto, I may buy a luxurious car.
