• 丁寧に表すときは would like to 動詞の原形
• want 名詞：　　〜が欲しい

  • I want to live in a big house.
• 高校生の時の同級生に会いたいなぁ
  • I want to see friends from high school.
• ピアノの先生になりたいです．
  • I want to be a piano instructor.
• 本当のことは知りたくありません．
  • I don't want to know the true.
• 明日の会議は出たくないなあ．
  • I don't want to attend the conference tommorow.
• ベンの誕生日会に行きたかったけれど行けなかった．
  • I wanted to go to Ben's birthday party but I couldn't.
• 本当はその討論に参加したくありませんでした．
  •  To tell the truth, I didn't want to take part in the discussion.
