• ifをwhetherに変えたり，why,what,who,how・・などの疑問詞を用いたりすることもできる．
• whatやwhoを用いる際にそれが目的語として使われていれば＜疑問詞＋主語＋動詞＞
• 疑問詞自体が主語であれば，＜疑問詞＋動詞＞

• ミッシェルはそれを知っているのかしら
  • I wonder if Michelle knows it.
• デイビッドは仕事をもう辞めたのかなぁ
  • I wonder whether David has already quit his job.

  • I wonder who she was with yesterday.
